Nine Radio is the number one news talk network across Australia, representing major brands in all capital cities, and should be a top consideration for clients, says Nine Radio Managing Director, Tom Malone.
Malone says: “Nine Radio had a big year in 2019. We took out the number one spot across Australia with listeners aged 40-plus, led by our news talk networks 4BC Brisbane, 2GB Sydney, 3AW Melbourne and 6PR Perth, and we also had a 10 per cent growth in audiences aged 25-54.
“Our great broadcasters know their audience better than anyone and that is why we’ve had such success in 2019, which will springboard us right into 2020.”
Moving into 2020, Nine Radio has refreshed its lineup right across Australia to further drive success for another year through new hosts and new shows.
“We’ve added Deborah Knight to the afternoon slot between 12 noon and 3pm and introduced a Wide World of Sports program between 6-7 on Mondays to Fridays, hosted by Mark Levy who will be joined by Billy Slater, Paul Gallen, and Brad Fittler every week, plus experts across AFL, cricket, tennis, netball and more,” Malone said. “We’ve also got a new money show between 7-8pm hosted by Brooke Corte, a respected business journalist with more than 20 years’ experience.”
With all the changes taking place in 2020, Malone declared that Nine Radio should be top of the consideration for clients, “because we are providing an audience that you cannot find elsewhere”.
