Women’s Footy Returns for 2020
Free-to-air’s only dedicated AFLW program, Women’s Footy, returns to Nine this Sunday, February 9, at 12.00pm.
Women’s Footy will bring viewers the latest news, opinion and analysis in and around the AFLW. With four new teams – West Coast, Richmond, Gold Coast and St Kilda – joining the competition in 2020, the program will leave no stone unturned as it reports on the hits, the misses and everything in between.
Each week a raft of the biggest names in the AFLW will join the show to discuss the weekend’s action, including AFLW premiership player Abbey Holmes and AFLW premiership coach Bec Goddard.
Sport superstar Bianca Chatfield will again host the program alongside Herald Sun sports journalist Lauren Wood.
Collingwood fanatic Chatfield said: “I’m super excited it’s back. With every season comes some incredible stories, team and individual performances and new players we get to meet, and with four teams added this year the show will be jam-packed.”
Episode one has some of biggest names locked in with two-time All Australian Emma King, gun Richmond recruit Monique Conti and head of the AFLW, Nicole Livingstone, set to join the program and give their insight into the season’s first matches.
Join Bianca Chatfield, Lauren Wood and the AFLW’s biggest stars for the latest news, highlights and stories from the 2020 AFLW season when Women’s Footy returns on Sunday, February 9, at 12.00pm on Nine and 9Now.
