It’s Back! Incredible, Dazzling Lego Masters
LEGO MASTERS – the breakout smash hit of 2019 – will bring a whole new wave of imagination when it returns for its second series on Sunday, April 19, at 7.00pm on Nine and 9Now.
Eight couples, brimming with creativity and flair, will be out to impress our host, Hamish Blake, and the judge, Ryan “Brickman” McNaught. They will battle it out in a series of dazzling and unique challenges in the ultimate quest to be crowned the LEGO MASTERS and the chance to win $100,000.
With the Golden Brick and a new secret brick in the mix to help the teams gain advantages, LEGO MASTERS will push them to their creative limits with builds of different themes and sizes, and challenges that must be seen to be believed.
LEGO MASTERS proved to be a huge hit with families around Australia last year and this season promises to wow them again. Fans of the show will love the extraordinary new builds the teams create and the fun and surprising twists ahead of them.
The eight teams comprise a diverse cast of contestants, all with different skills, ideas and personalities, including married high school sweethearts, best mates and old friends. They will go head-to-head each round as they strive to build the most jaw-dropping creations in an awe-inspiring contest to find Australia’s LEGO MASTERS.
This year, get set for all new exciting challenges, including an underwater theme, a Star Wars challenge, magical fairy tale builds, incredible hanging 3D art and a race against the clock to build the tallest tower possible.
The Brick Pit is the ultimate LEGO dream room. We’ve added 1.3 million more bricks this year for the teams to rip apart in making their extraordinary builds. With more than 3 million pieces in total, there is a brick, plate, tile and Minifigure for every challenge thrown at them.
Thrilling and inspiring, the eight teams are in a duel to win the huge $100,000 cash prize and the honour of being crowned Australia’s LEGO MASTERS – not to mention the amazing LEGO trophy made especially by Brickman himself.
LEGO MASTERS comes from producers Endemol Shine Australia. The series is adapted from an original UK format from Tuesday’s Child Productions and The LEGO Group.
