BOSS Magazine Names 2019 Young Executives
The Australian Financial Review’s BOSS magazine has announced the Young Executive winners for 2019.
The annual selection program run in conjunction with DDI, Development Dimensions International, is in its 16th year. Many of the previous 95 winners have risen through the C-suite ranks.
The 2019 Young Executive winners, detailed in BOSS magazine published inside today’s Financial Review, are:
– Catherine Anderson, Chief Customer Officer, Powershop Australia
– Paul Belluomo, Head of Lending Operations & Collections, AMP Bank
– Amrita Blickstead, Chief Operating Officer, eBay Australia
– Robert Hartley, General Manager Defence and National Security, The Citadel Group
– Larry McGrath, Executive General Manager, Customer and Corporate Affairs, John Holland
– Daniele Maggiolini, Director, Aftersales Solutions, CNH Industrial
BOSS Editor, Sally Patten, said: “It has been another special year in the life of the BOSS Young Executives program. I love the fact that the 2019 winners seem to be in less of a hurry to get to the top of the corporate ladder and are happy deepening their expertise in their current roles.
“Thanks again to DDI for working with BOSS on this wonderful initiative.”
DDI Australia Managing Director, Andrew Warren-Smith, said: “What’s impressive about this group is their clarity of vision, conviction of purpose and direction to drive their organisations’ future success.
“The opportunity and challenge for them now is to build the talent and capability behind them to ensure their innovations and customer-centred strategies are fully realised.”
Publicis Groupe Australia and NZ CEO, Michael Rebelo, one of this year’s judges and a former Young Executive himself, was impressed with the adaptability of the winners.
“I think what was quite apparent in this batch of winners was their adaptability to new technology, to competition, to how consumers are changing, and their ability to lean into that, collaborate with their wider organisation and look at ways to win through,” he said.
