Australia’s favourite hour of intergenerational laughs is back – Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Generation, led by host Shaun Micallef, returns Wednesday, May 1, at 7.30pm on Nine and 9Now.

Micallef has been a mainstay of Australian television for over 25 years, and as the token baby boomer on the show he takes the noble seat as host to once again delve deep into the abyss to find the answer to the integral question – which really IS the greatest generation to have ever lived?

To aid his research, he has enlisted three of the best players in the business. Leading Generation X is prolific content creator Robyn Butler. Star of radio, TV and podcasts, Andy Lee, is back as captain of Generation Y. And actor Laurence Boxhall will captain the lesser-lived Generation Z. 

Episode one will be a TAYG for all ages when the team captains are joined by Gold FM breakfast radio host Christian O’Connell, pop duo The Veronicas and actor Angourie Rice for a contest where there can only be one (or two, or three, depending on how you count them) winner. 

Who will get words in their mouths, songs in their ears and pickled cabbage on their faces? There’s only one way to find out and that’s by sittin’ and watchin’ Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Generation on Wednesday, May 1, at 7.30pm on Nine and 9Now.
