Sydney Good Food Month Expands
Sydney Good Food Month Expands
Good Food Month presented by Citi expands its alluring 2019 event programme with festival favourites Let’s Do Lunch, presented by New Zealand fine wine producer Church Road, and Friends of Good Food Month .
The much-loved Let’s Do Lunch series returns at some of Sydney’s Good Food Guide hatted restaurants serving lunch experiences at a specially curated price of $45pp, including a glass of Church Road wine, beer or soft drink. Participating restaurants like Nomad, Pilu at Freshwater and Cirrus are just a few of the crème de la crème venues taking part and all synonymous with quality dining experiences in Australia.
This year, the series is presented by Church Road, the award-winning winery based in New Zealand’s renowned Hawke’s Bay that has recently become more widely available in New South Wales and nationally.
Chris Scott, Church Road’s Chief Winemaker, said: “We’re excited to be a part of the legendary Let’s Do Lunch series, and feel it’s a wonderful pairing to have Church Road’s fine wines enjoyed at some of Sydney’s best establishments”.
The 2019 Friends of Good Food Month event series sees leading restaurants curate and host unique experiences to best showcase their culinary excellence. This year’s participants include the likes of Chiswick at the Gallery – celebrating their 5th birthday in residency at the gallery, Crows Nest Festival – where guests will find a diverse fusion of beverage and food offerings to enjoy, and the newly opened Reign Champagne Parlour & Bar where guests will enjoy four delicious shared courses (and bottomless bubbles fit for a queen). Now in its 21st year, Good Food Month is famed for bringing together talented chefs and dynamic flavours from a local and international stage. The Good Food Month feature events have been met by a record-breaking response, while the Night Noodle Markets are set to take Sydneysiders on a vibrant flavour journey through Asia, from 11-18 October.
