The 2026 NRLW Finals Series fires up tonight at 7.30pm, as the road to premiership glory begins live and free on Channel 9HD and 9Now.

Four women’s teams meet in sudden-death match-ups in week one as the race for the NRLW premiership reaches the business end.

Tonight belongs to the Wests Tigers and Canberra Raiders, with both clubs making history in their first-ever NRLW Finals Series. The Tigers have home ground advantage at Campbelltown Stadium, but the Raiders arrive full of confidence after beating the Tigers in their final game of the regular season.

Skipper Kezie Apps and playmaker Raecene McGregor hold the key to the Tigers’ charge, while the Raiders will look to Zahara Temara and Sheridan Gallagher to keep their premiership dream alive.

Saturday brings a heavyweight showdown at Totally Workwear Stadium, where the defending premiers, the Brisbane Broncos, meet the Newcastle Knights. The Broncos have two absolute aces in superstar fullback and captain Tamika Upton, and veteran playmaker Ali Brigginshaw, in her last finals campaign. The Knights will look to Kirra Dibb to steer their attack as they set out to dethrone the reigning premiers.

Waiting in the wings are the competition’s top two finishers, with the week off. The undefeated Sydney Roosters and fast-finishing Gold Coast Titans play in the second week of the finals, with the Roosters chasing another premiership and the Titans hunting a maiden NRLW title.

But this weekend, with no second chances, it’s win or go home in two crucial games of Finals Footy.

Nine’s Wide World of Sports will bring fans every hit, try and defining moment of the 2026 NRLW Finals Series, backed by insight and analysis from a team of the game’s biggest names.

Hosted by Bronte Gildea, Nine’s NRLW commentary team features the biggest names in the game, with international rugby league representatives Ruan Sims, Millie Elliott and Allana Ferguson, plus NRL premiership winners Billy Slater, Andrew Johns, Cameron Smith, Johnathan Thurston, Brad Fittler, Phil Gould, Paul Gallen, and sideline reporter Marlee Silva.

Calling all the action live will be Mathew Thompson, Brenton Speed, and Peter Psaltis.
