The women’s singles champion will be crowned, and Aussie wildcard wonders Rinky Hijikata and Jason Kubler get their chance to keep the men’s doubles trophy in Australia, in a massive night of Australian Open coverage from 6.30pm.
Exclusive, live and free on Channel 9HD and 9Now, the women’s final features two of the most powerful hitters on the women’s circuit, Elena Rybakina and Aryna Sabalenka, who will face off on Rod Laver Arena.
Rybakina has the big game experience as the reigning Wimbledon champion but faces a difficult task in containing Sabalenka, who hasn’t dropped a set all tournament and has an unbeaten record against Rybakina.
Straight after, the fairytale run of unseeded Aussie doubles pairing Rinky Hijikata and Jason Kubler, get their chance to replicate 2022 doubles champions Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis, in the men’s doubles final.
