Wide World of Sports is the only place to be for live and free action of the two big weeks of the Australian summer of golf, featuring Masters champion Rory McIlroy taking on Aussies Cameron Smith, Min Woo Lee and Adam Scott back on home soil, plus British Open champion Ryan Fox from New Zealand.

First up from November 26 is the BMW Australian PGA Championship at The Lakes Golf Club in Sydney where a world class field will battle it out for a record $2.5m AUD in prize money.

Then it’s on to the national championship, with the men’s Capital.com Australian Open in Melbourne from December 3 from Kingston Heath Golf Club on Melbourne’s world-famous Sandbelt, featuring back to back Masters champion Rory McIlroy.

That isn’t all for golf on the 9Network and 9Now, with two women’s major golf events set to be broadcast on free to air television when the world’s best tee it up for the standalone women’s Australian Open and Australian WPGA Championship in March.
