Going beyond the chart-topping hits, groundbreaking music videos and electrifying live performances, this compelling series digs deep into the extraordinary story of one of the most culturally significant entertainers of all time.

Starting with his rise to fame as a child star in the racially segregated America of the 1960s, The Michael Jackson Story charts Jackson’s meteoric ascent to global superstardom. It explores the man behind the myth, tracing his artistic brilliance, worldwide adoration, and controversies that plagued his later years.

Featuring rare archival footage and intimate interviews with those closest to him, viewers get a backstage pass into Jackson’s world. Contributors include sister La Toya Jackson, singer Dionne Warwick, manager Dieter Wiesner, bodyguard Bill Whitfield, family attorney Brian Oxman, and the criminal prosecutor Ron Zonen, each offering unique insight into the life of the superstar.
