New sci-fi sinkhole thriller lands on Australian screens
Modern-day Los Angeles meets a prehistoric phenomenon in the mysterious new sci-fi drama La Brea, premiering Monday, February 7, at 9.10pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
An epic adventure begins when a massive sinkhole opens in the middle of Los Angeles, pulling hundreds of people and buildings into its depths. Those who fell in find themselves in a mysterious and dangerous primeval land, where they have no choice but to band together to survive. Meanwhile, the rest of the world desperately seeks to understand what happened. In the search for answers, one family torn apart by this disaster will have to unlock the secrets of this inexplicable event to find a way back to each other.
Starring Natalie Zea as Eve Harris (Justified, Californication, The Other Guys), Eoin Macken as Gavin Harris (Merlin, The Tudors, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter), Zyra Gorecki as Izzy Harris (Chicago Fire), Jack Martin as Josh Harris (All Rise), Jon Seda as Dr. Samuel Velez (Chicago P.D., Gladiator, Law & Order SVU), Chiké Okonkwo as Ty Coleman (The Birth of a Nation, Death Saved My Life, Being Mary Jane) and Karina Logue as Marybeth Hayes (Animal Kingdom, NCIS: Los Angeles, True Blood).
