Meet more intrepid Aussies doing amazing things their way in the next instalment of My Way, this Saturday at 12pm on Nine.

Tim Blackwell, the voice behind My Way, introduces Luke Binks, a multi-talented craftsman who grew up with a fascination for medieval history. First, Luke discovered an appreciation for jousting at the Abbey Medieval Festival in Queensland. Then, taking it one step further, he decided to create his own jousting armour. From one jouster to another, word got around and his business was born: blacksmithing and hand-crafting armour for clients around the world.

With an undying passion for native food, “the Quandamooka Chef”, Keiron Anderson, will take viewers on a tour along the shores of North Stradbroke Island to showcase its pristine natural food resources. Keen to share his knowledge passed down from Quandamooka elders via authentic Australian food experiences and education, Keiron tells all.

We also meet Nick Maddocks who, raised by a family of pilots, developed an obsession with all things aviation. From representing Australia in gliding to now restoring old warplanes in his spare time, Nick opts to take to the sky for his Sunday “drive”.

As a mother, an esteemed senior doctor within Gold Coast University Hospital’s emergency department, and a cancer survivor, Dr Christa Bell knows all too well the critical importance of health care workers in the lives of those who are suffering. Her dedication extends beyond the hospital, raising money for children suffering from cancer as she rides the best mountain bike trails the Great South East has to offer.
