Oscars Day will begin with a special edition of Today with Richard Wilkins LIVE on the red carpet from 5.30am on Monday, March 5, bringing viewers all the latest news on the nominees, the favourites to win, and what we can expect from the stars in the fashion stakes. 
 
Nine’s coverage then continues as Today Extra celebrates 90 years of the Oscars with a host of special Oscar-winning guests.
 
On 9Now, the exclusive live stream of the 90th Annual Academy Awards, LIVE from the Red Carpet, will commence at 10.30am AEDT, bringing viewers unprecedented access to the star-studded red carpet arrivals
 
The LIVE broadcast of the 90th Annual Academy Awards ceremony will begin on Channel Nine and 9Now from 12.00pm AEDT. 

The awards will be replayed in prime time at 7.30pm on 9Gem.

 
For a second consecutive year, late-night talk show favourite Jimmy Kimmel will host the awards from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
 
Two Australians have been recognised for their work in two categories: Margot Robbie for Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in I, Tonya; and Lee Smith for Film Editing in Dunkirk.
