Timothy Longstaff
Independent Non-Executive Director
Timothy Longstaff joined the Board in January 2025 as an independent Non-Executive Director, and member of the Audit and Risk Management Committee.
A chartered accountant who commenced his career in audit, Mr Longstaff has extensive experience in investment banking from more than 25 years with leading global firms including Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan. He has a strong background in advising Australian and international companies on strategic and transformational M&A projects, and in debt and equity capital markets. After his career in investment banking, Mr Longstaff held a senior role with a Cabinet Minister in the Australian Government in both the Trade, Tourism & Investment portfolio, and the Finance portfolio.
Mr Longstaff is a non-executive director on the Boards of ASX-listed companies Inghams, Perenti and Aurizon, where he serves as chair of the company’s Audit, Governance and Risk Management Committee. He is also a non-executive director of Snowy Hydro and member of the Australian Government’s Takeovers Panel. Mr Longstaff is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand, a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and a Senior Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia.
