Amanda Laing is one of Australia’s most respected media executives, with deep expertise spanning broadcast, streaming, content strategy, and commercial partnerships. As Managing Director of Nine’s newly unified Streaming & Broadcast division, Amanda leads the integration of 9Now, Stan, Broadcast Television, and Radio – bringing together audience-first strategy, platform innovation, and commercial performance under one strategic vision.
Appointed to the role in 2025, Amanda is spearheading Nine’s Total TV evolution, driving growth across linear and digital platforms in response to shifting audience behaviours. She is responsible for content curation, commissioning, and commercialisation across all channels, with a strong focus on delivering value to advertisers and partners by building scalable, brand-safe environments that connect with audiences at scale.
Amanda also leads Nine Group’s Originals strategy – championing bold, culturally relevant Australian stories and building global partnerships that enhance creative output and monetisation opportunities.
Prior to her return to Nine, Amanda held senior executive roles at Foxtel and News Corp Australia, where she led transformative projects across streaming, digital media and subscription video-on-demand. She brings a proven track record in premium content acquisition, international rights negotiations, and shaping commercially successful partnerships with major studios and distributors worldwide.
