Nine’s Wide World of Sports will deliver a blockbuster night of international rugby when the Wallabies go toe-to-toe with the World Champion Springboks, this Sunday, September 27 live and free from 7.00pm AEST on Channel 9 and 9Now.

In what promises to be an unmissable physical showdown, the Wallabies return to home soil at Optus Stadium in Perth for a high-stakes Test match. With just over a year until the Men’s Rugby World Cup – where the Perth Stadium will host Australia’s opening match – this clash provides the perfect build-up to the Tournament .

Riding a wave of momentum under head coach Les Kiss, the Wallabies return home following a historic series victory in Argentina. They remain undefeated under Les and this year are averaging their most tries per game since 1985. Leading this all out attack philosophy is captain Harry Wilson with strike power across the park including dynamic back rower Rob Valetini and superstar outside back Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii.

They will collide with a stacked Springboks squad full of confidence after winning the historic Greatest Rivalry series against the All Blacks. Over the past year, the South Africans have compiled an enviable record of 15 wins from 16 matches, holding the World No. 1 ranking for all but one week.

Covering all the action will be Michael Atkinson, Wallaroos star Sera Naiqama, former Wallabies captain Michael Hooper and former Wallaby Justin Harrison on the panel, with Sean Maloney and Wallabies legends Tim Horan and Morgan Turinui providing expert commentary.
