Tina Turner: The Best Is Yet To Come, hosted by TODAY News and Entertainment Presenter Brooke Boney, will light up your hearts as it revisits the 12-time Grammy Award winner’s greatest moments in Australian pop culture and spotlights the enduring stamp she has put on the nation since her extraordinary heyday in the 1980s.

Set to a killer soundtrack from her long list of great hits, this pulsating special gives viewers a backstage pass to Turner’s fabulous five-decade career. From selling 100 million records to starring in Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, a chapter in one of the biggest movie franchises of all time, and belting out the famous anthem that forever changed the NRL, Tina was a showstopper whatever she did.

Tina Turner: The Best Is Yet To Come invites a selection of Australia’s most celebrated singers including David Campbell, Casey Donovan, Vanessa Amorosi, Darren Hayes and Christine Anu, along with Nine’s Richard Wilkins, to tell their own tales about Tina’s influence on them and reflect on how she was and always will be simply the best.
