NRL and NRL Grand Final spots on the line, live and free on Nine

A ticket to the big dance is up for grabs in a colossal weekend of NRL and NRLW and Channel 9HD and 9Now is the only place you can see it all live and free, from Friday night.

Gunning for a premiership hat-trick, the Penrith Panthers have their claws sharpened and ready to sink into a club that is no stranger to success, the Melbourne Storm, from 7.00pm.

These clubs have won the last four premierships, and a high-class battle of wits will play out on the field and in the coaches box between the Panthers father-son duo of Ivan and Nathan Cleary, and legendary Storm coach Craig Bellamy and the enigmatic Cameron Munster.

Then on Saturday night the Cinderella stories of the 2023 season, the Brisbane Broncos and New Zealand Warriors, jockey for a Grand Final appearance from 7.00pm at Suncorp Stadium.

Energy, speed and power has turned untapped potential into what Queensland State of Origin Coach Billy Slater believes is premiership favouritism for the red-hot Broncos. However, they’ll be contending with the whole of New Zealand riding the Warriors wave into Brisbane as they push towards their first ever premiership.

Nine’s Wide World of Sports will bring its Sunday best to this weekend’s rugby league coverage when it’s time to decide who will be in the NRLW Grand Final with two semi-finals from 2.00pm.

Plus on Sunday, 9Now will stream a NSW Cup Grand Final 100 years in the making, between the North Sydney Bears and South Sydney Rabbitohs, live and free from 3.00pm. These two foundation rugby league clubs last met in a Grand Final in 1926.

Across the weekend, Wide World of Sports, the only place you can see every NRL finals game including the exclusive NRL Grand Final, will feature the best commentary team in the business: rugby league Immortal Andrew Johns, premiership-winning captains Cameron Smith, Johnathan Thurston, Brad Fittler, Paul Vautin, Paul Gallen and Darren Lockyer, and multiple premiership winners Phil Gould AM and Billy Slater.
