Nine has promoted Sam Brennan to the role of Director of Sales – Melbourne.

For the past five years Brennan has held the role of Nine’s Director of Sales – Sport, leading the company’s national sports sales teams focused on Nine’s key NRL, cricket and netball properties. 

In his new role Brennan will report to Richard Hunwick, Nine’s Director of Sales – Television. 

“I’m tremendously excited to lead Nine’s Melbourne sales team,” said Brennan. “It is a unique market with fantastic clients and I’m excited about the opportunity to work with our great team and continue to deliver strong results for our Melbourne-based clients.” 

Brennan’s promotion comes just a week after the elevation of Matt Scriven to the role Managing Director of Nine Melbourne to replace Ian Paterson, who moves to Sydney to take up the position of Nine’s Director – Commercial Partnerships and Affiliates.

A replacement for the position of Nine’s Director of Sales – Sport will be named in due course.
