The Coronation of King Charles III will be broadcast live from 5.00pm AEDT this Saturday, May 6, on Channel 9, 9Gem and 9Now.
The historic event will be hosted by esteemed journalists Peter Overton and Ally Langdon, while royal confidant Dickie Arbiter and expert commentator Camilla Tominey will provide viewers with unique insight into the ceremony and the significance of the momentous occasion.
In addition, 9News correspondents Brett McLeod, Carrie-Ann Greenbank and Edward Godfrey will be stationed in key locations across London and Windsor to bring viewers up-to-the-minute news and analysis of the event.
Our team will cross to the BBC’s world-class coverage of the official ceremony and service, which will be broadcast commercial-free.
For royal fans wanting to start the celebrations early, a special edition of Weekend Today will be broadcast from 6.00am on Saturday, featuring Jayne Azzopadi and Clint Stanaway alongside Nine’s exclusive experts. Viewers can also relive all the magical moments of the Coronation the following morning from 6.00am.
