After an up and down beginning to their 2023 campaigns the Gold Coast Titans and Wests Tigers kick off the round on Thursday Night Footy.
Despite their inconsistency, both teams still find themselves within striking distance of the top 8 and have plenty to play for.
Then on Friday Night Footy the feel good story of the season rolls into Manly’s 4 Pines Park when Wayne Bennett’s Dolphins meet the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles.
A never-say-die attitude has endeared the Dolphins to rugby league fans in their first season, but they are yet to win a game outside Queensland. Maroons State of Origin and Sea Eagles captain Daly Cherry-Evans will be at his scheming best to keep it that way.
Then Sunday Arvo Footy offers the biggest storyline of the round. New South Wales Blues halfback-elect Nicho Hynes gets his final audition for the jersey left vacant by the injured Nathan Cleary when his Sharks line up against the Storm and their champion Maroons playmaker Cameron Munster in Melbourne.
Blues coach Brad Fittler will provide his commentary on the game live while Maroons coach Billy Slater reports from the sideline, both exclusively on the 9Network and 9Now from 3.00pm Sunday.
